Synopsis

Mia is a contract killer with a big secret: she’s a transsexual woman. Her life is sent into a tailspin when she receives a letter from her ex, Wendy, who reveals that she’s dying from cancer and that Mia has a son, eleven year old Ryan. Travelling to the countryside to meet him, she discovers the rest of Wendy’s children. A lethal killer at the heart of a troubled family can only change their lives forever.

Academy Award? nominated and Golden Globe? winning actress Chloe Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, Big Love) plays Mia. Peter Wright (Another Year, Hot Fuzz) is Eddie, her handler and a well-known name in the criminal underworld. Vincent Regan (300, Clash of the Titans) is John, a dangerous local farmer. Ben, a local landscape gardener who falls for Mia, unaware of her transgender status, is played by Jonas Armstrong (Robin Hood, The Street).
